Angelica Ornelas Presents at Electronic Discovery Seminar
Girard Sharp attorney Angelica Ornelas presented on October 17 at the Electronic Discovery Seminar, an event hosted by the California Employment Lawyers Association at the Doubletree Hilton in San Jose.
Angelica was one of three speakers for a panel entitled “The Sky’s the Limit: E-Discovery if Money Were No Object.” The discussion covered electronically stored information (ESI) preservation obligations, negotiating ESI protocols, and ESI collection and review methodologies, including technology assisted review.
Angelica is a member of Working Group 1 of The Sedona Conference, a group of lawyers focused on developing principles, guidance and best practice recommendations for electronic document retention and production. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association’s Northern District of California Chapter.
The California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) is a statewide organization of attorneys representing employees in termination, discrimination, wage and hour, and other employment cases. The Electronic Discovery Seminar took place as part of the CELA’s 32nd Annual Employment Law Conference.
