Adam Polk to Present at 23rd Annual National Institute on Class Actions
Girard Sharp partner Adam Polk will be presenting at the 23rd Annual National Institute on Class Actions, a yearly conference organized by the American Bar Association (ABA). The event will take place October 17-18 at the Omni Nashville Hotel.
Adam is slated to moderate a panel entitled “’Dueling Pianos.’ A Debate on the Continuing Need for Class Actions,” a discussion regarding the appropriate place of class actions in society and law. Also on the panel are Professor Brian Fitzpatrick of the Vanderbilt University Law School and Professor Jason Johnston of the University of Virginia School of Law.
Adam is the current co-chair of the ABA Class Actions and Derivative Suits Committee and also serves on the planning committee for this conference. He is a frequent writer and contributor for the ABA’s Practice Points articles and has spoken at other ABA events in the past.
The Annual National Institute on Class Actions is a premier national gathering of class action attorneys, providing practical class action insights from prominent circuit and district court judges, and the latest practical developments in class action, including trial techniques and best practices.
