1inMM Capital Securities Fraud Investigation

05.03.2021

Girard Sharp is investigating reports of a fraudulent scheme perpetrated by a group of individuals and entities centered on Los Angeles-based actor Zachary Horwitz and his company, 1inMM Capital, LLC.

We allege that 1inMM and its agents and coconspirators raised over $690 million from investors based on false representations that the company was buying film distribution rights, allegedly for resale to Netflix and HBO.

If you invested in 1inMM Capital directly, or through Associated Funds like JJMT, LLC, you may have a claim for relief.

More Information on the 1inMM Capital Investigation

We allege that Zachary Horwitz and 1inMM duped investors by falsely claiming they were selling film rights to Netflix and HBO at a high profit. Horwitz and his company allegedly manufactured fake emails and agreements with the streaming companies.

On April 5, 2021, Horwitz was arrested by federal agents for allegedly violating securities laws. On April 20, 2021, Girard Sharp filed its complaint alleging that Horwitz and 1inMM promised investors high returns on low-risk investments in film rights but, in Ponzi-like fashion, used new investments to pay returns to existing investors who believed that the funds derived from film deals.
