Resource REIT is a real estate investment trust that owns $3 billion worth of multifamily properties across 15 states. On January 29, 2021, Resource REIT II announced that it had completed merging with Resource REIT I and Resource REIT II. The merger combined the three REITs portfolios of suburban apartment communities. As part of the merger, Resource REIT I acquired the external advisors of Resource REIT II and Resource REIT III.
