More on the 2021 Ford Bronco 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 Engine Failure

On June 3, 2022, the NHTSA launched a probe into the Ford Bronco 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine following reports of failure. The vehicle may have a defect in the value-train, causing it to lose power at highway speeds and become impossible to restart.

It is estimated that a total of 25,538 vehicles could be affected. No recall has been issued at this time.
