More Information on the Oatly Investigation 

On July 14, 2021, Spruce Point Capital released a report regarding its investigation into Oatly, a Swedish food company that produces alternatives to milk products made from oats. The report states that Oatly misrepresented its sustainability and accounting practices. According to the report, there were also signs of revenue overstatement at Oatly, which an Oatly manager in the United States verified.

Following the Spruce Point Capital report, Oatly’s share price fell as much as 7%.
