More Information on the Partnership Breach
Partnership has not issued a statement on the underlying cause of the alleged breach, but Hive, a group of cyber criminals that regularly orchestrates ransomware attacks, has claimed responsibility for the incident. A post by Hive on March 19 (since removed) showed screenshots of data proofs allegedly exfiltrated from the Partnership network. These proofs included 850,000 unique records containing individuals’ names, addresses, birthdates, and Social Security numbers.
