More About the Alleged Taurus Safety Defect

Owners of certain Taurus firearms are reporting a problem with how the manual safety is designed. When the trigger is staged and the safety is engaged, pulling the trigger still fires the gun, putting owners and those around them at risk of potentially deadly injury.

In a recent incident involving the Taurus G3C pistol, an owner’s brother was shot while the safety was engaged and suffered life-threatening injuries.

The alleged defect, which has been reported in the G3C model, potentially affects all “G” series Taurus pistols.
